Sam was previously a sculptor before she found her way into jewelry. Which is interesting because I've always been interested in jewelry, but I am a sculpture major at my school. Sam lives in England which is pretty awesome because I've always wanted to visit there!
Though sending things through customs is a little nerve wracking in my opinion. I was terrified that her package wouldn't get to her! Though luckily it did. In my usual fashion, I completely forgot to take pictures of the contents before I sent it, so hopefully she has some lovely pictures for you! I did remember to take pictures of my package from Sam though which was terribly hard because I just wanted to rip everything open!
She packaged everything so beautifully! I am so obsessed with those stickers. I actually put them on some wax paper so I could reuse them for something... you know, like a hoarder...
Annnnddd inside these gorgeous little packages, beads! Wonderful beads!
This picture is more of my challenge picture. Of course I'm familiar with bead caps, but I want to do something different with them rather than just cap my beads. Stay tuned to see what I come up with! The beads on the end are also going to be a little bit of a challenge for me; they're a bit out of my usual color story, but I look forward to the challenge.
And here are the lovely clasps and bail that Sam sent me.
And this. Oh my god. This! I'm freaking obsessed. Sam said it's just for fun, but I don't want to throw it up on the wall! I wanna wear it or something! I don't know yet! I love it so much!
I'll have a little video up on my facebook page of me showing the little sculpture to my boyfriend.
Before I say bye, I'd like to share with you some of the lovely things that Sam has made. I borrowed all of these pictures from her facebook page, so make sure to go there for more pretty things!
Can you see how obsessed I am with her little toadstools?!
Stay tuned to see what both I and Sam created from our lovely little swap packages! I'm so excited!
